Easy Hypnosis Tactics for Mind Control

By Christopher Cohen

To hypnotize someone and move the person into a state of subconscious relaxation is maybe more fascinating and exciting an experience than getting hypnotised yourself. It takes a lot of patience and practice to be ready to prompt hypnosis and use it successfully.

It takes both the hypnotist and his subject to participate equally to be ready to achieve the desired results. In case the topic is unhappy to let go control over his consciousness, and allow himself to drift away into relaxation, it would hinder the work of the hypnotist. Therefore , before starting to hypnotize a subject, it's a necessity to clear all misunderstandings patients generally carry about hypnosis, like they will fall asleep or give out their methods. It is vital to build trust between the topic and the hypnotist. The topic should be sure that the only point of hypnotising him is that his mind would receive the message better in that state and respond more definitely. Once the topic is prepared, the actual process of hypnotism begins.

The topic should be seated in a snug position, uncross his arms and legs, wear loose clothes, and breathe deep. The room should preferably be quiet and dimly lit for better concentration. The hypnotist should speak in a steady, controlled, monotone voice, repeating phrases and getting the subject to sail smoothly and effortlessly with hypnotist's voice. Instructions like, inhale deeply, let go, relax forget your fears and tensions, you are completely relaxed now, deeper, higher etc are quite strong in achieving the desired results. The hypnotist can intensify efficacy of his method by stroking the limbs, and talking slowly, allowing ample time for each instruction to sink in. At no point of time should the hypnotist force himself upon the topic and annoy the thoroughly purchased subconscious state of the subject. In case, the specified results aren't achieved in the 1st attempt, a patient second attempt should be made.

When the topic has been brought under hypnotism, exercise uttermost care as this experience can be scary or unnerving for some. It is necessary to make the subject feel safe and secure. Comforting phrases like don't worry, you are completely safe, everything's fine, you are in safe hands can help a hypnotist assert control without scaring the subject.

When bringing back the subject to awakened conscious, hypnotist must be equally careful. Don't jerk the topic out of his state of relaxation. Again, go slow, count form one to five and lead the topic out of his subconsciousness. Keep telling the subject that he'll feel far better, fresh, energetic and revamped.

Across the process, the subject should not get even the tiniest inkling of any hesitancy or lack of confidence on the part of the hypnotist. The subject must feel the hypnotist is completely in control, that he will not permit any harm to come to the subject. Only then does the subject give up control and surrender himself completely to the hypnotist. Therefore to induce hypnosis, hypnotist should have ultimate self confidence in his ability and craft. Only then is he able to achieve successful induction. .

Seduction And NLP

By Richard Brus

NLP and seduction have long been associated with each other. Nero Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a term used to describe the way in which our brains adhere to specific patterns of communication dependent on our personality type. Once we can begin to understand these patterns, triggers and Meta models, we can use them to our advantage whilst communicating with women.

When we cause a woman to align and harmonize with our desires and intentions through the use of effective communication, it is known as seduction.

Seduction and NLP go hand in hand. By swiftly interpreting which kind of system a woman is primarily employing, a man can apply the same system to build trust and connection more effectively. Building trust and rapport are essential factors in seduction.

People adopt a certain type of representational system whilst communicating and primarily use one of four possible systems dependent on their personality type. The four representational systems are classified as audio, visual, olfactory and kinesthetic. When a man communicates with a woman whilst adopting her representational system to do so, he can build a connection with her much sooner than if he was to ignore this conversational dynamic.

Someone who is operating through the lens of a visual system will often communicate using terminology associated with vision. A typical example might be, "Try to picture what I'm saying here. As soon as you can envision what I mean you'll probably change your view point. Then you'll be able to see what I mean"

With a little practice it can become simple for you to adopt the same representational system in your conversational dynamics as the woman you are flirting with. It gives the woman the impression that you just seem to be able to speak her language.

When 'audio' is a woman's primary representational system you'll hear her use dialog such as, "When I heard it, it was like music to my ears. His idea just sounded so good and I'm so glad I listened. After that I just tuned out and quietly imagined what it would be like"

If the kinaesthetic system is her personal hierarchy you'll hear numerous words in sentences that will be associated with feelings and touch. An example would be, "I don't feel like I've touched on the subject properly with him. I wish he'd warm to the idea and talk about it because I feel it would soften his hurt somewhat"

People rarely use the olfactory system as their preferred representational system as the majority of people are visual, audio or kinaesthetic. However, an example would sound like, "The weather was cold and bitter but the smell of the rain was nice. The icing on the cake was him bringing a jumper for me. I thought that was very tastefully done"

Now that you can understand and identify the different preferred representational systems that women use you'll be able to easily adopt the same system at will, and increase the quality of your connection with women. A communication breakdown on a very subliminal level can be found in the following example.

If a woman was communicating with you and she said, "I like the look of that place and I can picture myself going there someday", she would be classified as a 'visual'. If a man was to respond using the 'audio' system with something like, "That does sound good. It's got a good vibe and it seems nice and peaceful like you could just tune out. I hear you and its quiet a good idea, I must say"

Although the man is agreeing with the woman in the above example, to her it still seems like he is speaking a different language. It will rub her the wrong way at a subconscious level and she won't feel totally connected to him. However, if the man responded with, "I can see what you mean, that does look good. I too could definitely visualize myself going there", the outcome would be a lot different and the woman would be more at ease around the man.

When a man can easily identify the woman's preferred representational system and is able to utilize the same system, it's natural for the woman to feel more comfortable around the man. It can become easy with a little practice and it's always an advantage to have this embedded within your conversational dynamics. - 31969

The Importance of Deep Breathing Exercises

By Christopher Cohen

Breathing deep is a simple yet intensely effective exercise. It is easy to learn and perform, requires nil gear, and promotes both physical and mental well being. The way we breathe can change the way that we feel. It helps release our stress, alters our mood, and gets our body to function smoother. Most of the time, we coincidentally breath shallowly. We do more of it when we are stressed and concerned. Shallow breaths don't permit enough oxygen to reach our organs, putting more pressure on them and stressing out the body even more. Deep breathing methodology can beat this endless circle.

How to Start

To begin with, sit up straight. Ensure that you are not mooching or bending as it compresses the organs inside your body, especially your diaphragm and meddles with the exercise. Close your eyes and try maintaining a calm mood. Forget all of your routines worries and stresses. Try to work on your respiring process. You should be able to feel the air entering and leaving your body. Steadily try to breathe through your nostrils and breathe in as deep as possible. You should be ready to feel your abdomen rise and fall as the air goes out and in of your body. In case, it's your chest you are feeling going up and down, you should know that you are breathing shallow. The inhaled air is returning from your chest without entering your stomach. Attempt to breathe through your nose Into the abdomen. Hold the air inside you for a second or 2. Breathe out slowly through your mouth, concentrating on the feel of slow, deep breaths.

Why It Works on the Body

to understand how breathing is affecting our health, let us take a fast look at the ins and outs of breathing. Our diaphragm pumps air to our belly, ribcage, and back. It expands our chest cavity such that the air pressure within the body is smaller than outside. As a result, the air from outside rushes into the lungs. This pushes the blood from our heart to assorted organs and tissues helping promote blood circulation.

Correct respiring is also required to maintain an optimum balance of oxygen and carbon-dioxide in our body. We need oxygen to keep our organs function actively, while we need carbon dioxide to calm us down. Carbon dioxide works like a natural tranquilizer. Shallow, frequent breaths use too much carbon dioxide from our body making us feel sluggish and knackered. Slow and deep breaths ensure we maintain the best balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in our body.

Deep respiring is a free stress reduction technique which can be performed anytime and anywhere. And it is extremely straightforward : Breathe in and breathe out, and that is it. Do set apart few minutes a day to treat your body to a plush supply of oxygen and the ensuing relaxation. . - 31969

By Christopher Cohen

You may or may not have heard about the product called iDozer. It is a new products that claims to have the effects of mind altering substances without taking any drink or pill. Its a digital product that you listen to that enables your mind to reach some other level. Some my refer to it as a digital drug, but I find it to be another type of self hypnosis audio.

Mind modification and self hypnosis programs are gaining in popularity today. With all the self help books and courses, you must research which program is best for you. With iDozer, you are able to get the same effects of getting tipsy off your favorite drink without the risk of a hangover or making a fool of yourself. This digital cocktail is served up just by putting on a set of headphones.

Do your friends like to partake in recreational drug use but, your work situation won't allow you to indulge. iDozer MP3s are are great alternative to getting "high" with you friends without compromising your own health. So, grab for the headphones instead of that cocktail, or beer or other mind altering substance.

Self hypnosis technique, like Binaural Beat Therapy, was initially introduced as a way for someone to overcome an addiction or other affliction via the subconscious mind. Relaxation plays a key role in helping those with addiction problems by weening the addict off of their drugs by mimicking that feeling of getting high without the physiologically habit forming compounds found in many of today's street drugs.

IDozer and other self hypnosis audio can also help in boosting up ones self-confidence. This works by releasing the negative inner voices that stop us from believing that we are better. This negative self talk is the one thing that limits our own potential. By using iDozer, you can also achieve a better self image of yourself. You will be more confident knowing that you are in control of your life and you are improving your self.

Due to the nature of these audio files, parents should be aware of what their children are listening to as well. Although there are no age limit on listening to these files, the young should be aware and cautious from overdoing it. Just like with everything in life, moderation is the key. But remember, there are no physical side effects that occur because no substance is being ingested or taken. This is important for anyone who wants to enjoy a "party" like night without the risk of getting a hangover the next morning.

The audio and sound wave of iDozer Binaural Beat Therapy works by creating a sense of euphoria. This works by stimulating your brain and by bringing your theta brain waves to a resting state. You are able to feel a relaxed without the physical effects of harmful carcinogens.

So to get ready for your iDozer experience, simply, download your mp3 file, load it to your favorite mp3 and place on your headphones. Its best to have a quiet room and dim lit to get the best experience from it. You can start to feel a feeling of relaxation and tranquility. Some may feel that this mimics the sensation of 'drug' induced high and feel that this audio should not be used by minors. I believe parent should just be aware of what their children are listening to.

By putting a negative spin on iDozer MP3s or Digital Drugs, those concerned will only create more curiosity in the public realm and the inevitable acceptance of Digital Drugs will be achieved. There are no side effects to listening to iDozers and therefore, the government is fearful that Digital Drugs will become TOO appealing to our youth and destroy the foundation of our future. On the flip side, when used responsibly, iDozer MP3s can prevent people from participating in dangerous and illicit activities that often surround the street drug culture. You're only a few click away to live happy, live healthy and get high! For years, Binaural Beat Therapy has been reserved for a select few who have realized the power and have used these powers for personal gain and happiness. Suppression and lack of awareness has kept iDozers in the shadows of traditional recreational drugs. - 31969

Do Subliminal Messages Really Work? Communicating With The Subconscious Mind

By Trevor Johnson

Do subliminal messages really work? This might be one of the most common questions that you'd ask once you hear about this topic. These so-called messages which communicate with your subconscious mind have been used in therapies, marketing and advertising, which makes it quite useful when it comes to communicating to a particular target audience.

Subliminal messages are messages which pass through your subconscious mind, therefore communicating directly with your brain without being conscious about it. They may be in forms of visuals or audio, spanning a wide variety of medium where these messages could be put.

People often think that advertisers have utilized subliminal messages with their advertisements, although this practice has largely been outlawed. Videos may have flashing words which are too fast for the conscious mind to grasp, pictures with different meanings, and audio with a hidden track beyond the human hearing's ability.

However, as you know more, you tend to ask once again: do subliminal messages really work? The answer should be yes, they do work. Some people do not say that it works because they do not feel it working. How can you feel something which works if you do not perceive? Only by experiments in controlled environments can tell that they do actually work.

Because of this, subliminal messages have also been used in various therapies involving audio and video. Flashing words for very short periods of time in a particular video or inserting inaudible recorded statements beneath audio tracks are some ways on how these subliminal messages are used in such situations. There are also self-help methods which make use of these messages, which effectively changes the way people think.

Think of these subliminal messages as an easy and direct way of communicating with your inner self. With subliminal messages, you could feel more loved, feel better about yourself, and just be almost anything you want. Try them now! - 31969

How To Use Conversational Hypnosis For Sales

By Ryan Camana

Everyone has seen a stage hypnosis show where people dance around like chickens and answer to imaginary voices. As entertaining as those shows are, did you know that a person can be hypnotized purely through conversation? Its true. Known as conversational hypnosis or nlp hypnosis it has nothing to do with deep trances or mind control. Of course there are quite a few advanced techniques, but overall conversational hypnosis is good story telling. When selling a product or service, your job it to have you prospect imagine owning or using what you are selling. A good story is one of the best ways to do this.

Remember the last time you went to the movies. If it was a good movie, you were held captivated by the story. The reason the movie holds our attention so well is we actually experience the movie in our mind in the first person. That is, we imagine ourselves experiencing what is occurring on screen. The human mind works in metaphors or stories. While watching a good movie your conscious mind, the critical factor, temporarily shuts down. This allows you to suspend disbelief and take in all that is offered to you.

Its that very suspension of disbelief that makes a story entertaining. Your unconscious mind is unlimited in what it can imagine. When you are experiencing a good story, the details of "reality" don't seem to matter so much. The fact that James Bond can escape using some technologically advanced shoe doesn't seem unrealistic because the critical factor is down.

Since good storytelling is a skill that takes time to develop, lets go over another conversational hypnosis or nlp hypnosis technique that you can use in sales today. I'm sure you're aware that the tone of a persons voice at the end of a sentence determines whether a sentence is a question, a statement, or a command. With a question people raise the tone or pitch of their voice at the end of the sentence. A statement has the same tone or pitch throughout. And a command has a lowered tone or pitch at the end of the sentence.

Now the magic occurs when you use the command tonality when asking a question. For example, "It really is a great product, isn't it?" Just a subtle downturn and a nod of the head in the affirmative and you have an incredibly persuasive statement. - 31969

What Are The Main Principles Promoted By Neurolinguistic Programing?

By Trevor Johnson

Neurolinguistic Programing is one of the most popular communication theories, being successfully used in negotiation, sales, marketing, therapy, business and coaching. Most people recognize that the human mind is an extremely powerful. "tool. " and that we use only a small part of this potential. NLP shows us how the brain works and how to make better decisions.

How exactly can we achieve the desired results? We have all the resources we need to change our behavior; all we have to do is to find the person (or persons) who have already done what we want to achieve. In other words, to identify models of excellence and use the same strategies they used. It all started as a study of the relationship between neurology, linguistics and patterns (models) of behavior (programs).

NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) can be defined in many ways. Mainly, it is a way of communication and personal development that is based on the connection between brain, verbal (what we think and say) and non-verbal language. This connection influences our inner state (what we feel) and external behavior (what we do).

This method gives you the ability to achieve the most appropriate mental, emotional and physical state in a particular situation. NLP is based on studies conducted on successful people who have achieved remarkable results in career and personal life. This means that neuro-linguistic programming analyzes the structure of subjective experiences of people (the way they talk and act) to build models of excellence.

NLP was first promoted as a form of psychological therapy with positive effects on people with phobias, behavioral disorders, psychosomatic diseases, depression, etc. It was also described as the art and science of personal excellence or the science of communications brilliance. Excellence comes from having many choices.

At an organizational level NLP comes with a number of techniques and applications that form the basic tools and skills necessary for effective management, organizational development and leadership. As we said before, all these tools, techniques and skills have been applied by leaders, top managers and consultants worldwide. - 31969

How To Easily Hypnotize Anybody For Fun And Pleasure

By George Hutton

If you have ever been hypnotized, you know what an incredibly wonderful experience it can be. The truth is that it's pretty easy to hypnotize anybody, so long as you have their permission before hand, and they actually want to be hypnotized. Most people are hypnotized half the time anyway. So it's pretty natural to be able to hypnotize people.

One thing you'll need before you start is what they want. Do they want to quit smoking? Lose weight? Get rid of their craving for chocolate ice cream? Or do they just want a relaxed experience for a while? No matter what it is, respect their wishes and promise you'll do your best to make their wishes come true under hypnosis.

OK, now you're ready to get started. Have them get into a relaxed position, whatever that means for them. Sitting back, laying on the floor, whatever. Once they're in position, ask them to take a few slow breaths. Have them they are breathing in magical relaxation gas, and breathing out stress and anxiety.

Once they have become really relaxed and look like a bowl full of jelly, you can start guiding their attention. Get them to focus on each body part, starting with their head, and finishing on their feet, relaxing each part as they go.

Now's the time to start with the commands. You can tell them to do whatever they told you they wanted to do before. Stop smoking, or lose weigh, or whatever. Spend about ten minutes on this part. Speak slowly and relaxed, and try to match the rate of your speaking with the rate of their breathing.

After you're done reprogramming their brain, you can wake them up. Count slowly from one to five, and tell them that each step they will feel more awake. Once they are awake, give them a few minutes to shake it off. Then you can trade places, and have some more fun. - 31969

NLP Rewind Technique - Take Charge Of Your Life Now!

By Trevor Johnson

There is nothing worse than being scared of something so much that it takes hold of your life in all its facets. It sometimes leads to anxiety, depression and a feeling of dread all day long. Or maybe you have a phobia that really creates all sorts of problems in your workplace. It is possible to get help quickly and in this article we will endeavor to offer some reprieve by explaining the NLP rewind technique.

NLP or it's full name; Neuro-Linguistic-Programming as been around for a long time, but has only been used productively in the past few years. Research has found that we tend to replay the problem in our minds over and over again until we cannot differentiate between past and present. What might have happened to us in the past has somehow jumped into our present in a very real and frightening way. Hence the anxiousness and sweaty palms and even heart palpitations manifest at the slightest recall.

Let's look at a report recently brought to our attention:

A 40 year old mother of two Janet, lives with the fear of driving a car. She is otherwise happy and content but has never sat behind wheel of a car. She relied on many people to assist her with her errands and especially getting her children from A to B. She lost her young brother in a tragic car accident and is convinced that she will also die if she drives a car.

She has made all kinds of excuses not to drive throughout her life and depended on her husband, family members and friends to fetch the children from school and drive her to do her errands.

First she would imagine herself in a cinema with a large screen. She is comfortable, calm and feeling really relaxed. She would then start her movie with various actors playing various parts. Her movie would be in black and white as to give it an old look. She would imagine exactly where the accident happened and recall all her memories of the event in graphic detail.

Once her movie was playing, she would leave her chair and stand somewhere so that she could observe herself. She would then be able to see her reactions and facial expressions but realize that she was no longer in the movie, but just observing it from a distance. This created the important step of disassociation.

She was then gradually allowed to change the color of her movie into technicolor. This immediately brightened up the mood of the movie. She was then urged to watch her movie until the end in a position where she was not frightened because she was observing from the side lines, while rewinding and fast forwarding her movie and putting some positive scenes like music and nice objects around the actors. She started to imagine that she was driving in her little car, safe and sound while soothing music played on the radio.

She was in control and nothing bad happened in her new movie. She repeated the rewinding a few times and has successfully taken her drivers test and is now mobile for the first time in her life, by applying the nlp rewind technique and changing her future for the better. - 31969

Have Greater Confidence With NLP Sales Technique

By Ryan Camana

One of the presuppositions of NLP sales is to always operate from a physiology of excellence. This means if you want to be excellent at something then adopt the posture and attitude of those people that are excellent at doing said action. Seems simple enough. Now there is a lot more to actually modeling someone, say like a boxer or great salesperson, than their posture. But how about if I let you in on a little secret body position that ALL people naturally use when they experience victory. A simple gesture you can use when your frustrated and down on yourself. Or when you have negative internal dialog just ruining your day.

Before I tell you about that gesture and exactly how I found out about it, lets go over why this gesture works to create positive thinking. One very powerful technique of NLP is called a pattern interrupt. Think of a pattern interrupt like an unexpected detour. Imagine you're driving to work in the morning. Taking the same route you always take. And taking this same route you really don't have to think. Your unconscious mind knows exactly how to get you... BAMMMM. A giant tree just falls into the road in front of you. Completely blocking your path, now you have to take a different route. Herein lies the magic. At this point you can either take another route and get all bent out of shape that your late for work and on and on...

Or, you can decide, "My god! Think of what could have happened had I been a few seconds faster... I'm so grateful that I'm still alive. This is the best day ever.! I am so lucky."

At the occurrence of the pattern interrupt, your unconscious mind is requesting instructions from you. This is the time when you can make drastic changes to your thoughts.

"I need some instructions," is what your unconscious is saying to you.

Like driving, most of your life is spent on autopilot. The unconscious mind runs its programs and patterns only looking for guidance when a decision needs to be made.

Ask yourself, what do people do when they accomplish something. Either they throw their fists in the air, or they pull them back into their sides. You've seen it before. Everyone uses the fist pump instinctively. Reading an article in science daily, I discovered that even blind people use the fist pump. Pretty amazing that its so ingrained in our culture. It doesn't actually matter which particular move you make, fists up or pulled into the sides. Either one will instantly give you the feeling that you're successful at whatever doing. Instant winners state.

I use this pattern interrupt nlp technique all the time. Especially when I get frustrated at some sales presentation I'm working on. When I'm just burning with frustration I'll throw my fists in the air and shout "Yyeeessss!" It works every time. That gesture makes me feel like I just accomplished whatever it is I am working on. I've even done it in front of other people by acting like I'm stretching and screaming "Yeeaaahh" inside my head.

When I first learned this technique I thought everyone would think I had finally lost it. The exact opposite occurred. I'd do this technique and everyone around me would want to know what was so exciting. People are so anchored with this gesture that they all wanted to join in on my success. - 31969

Unleash Your Power With NLP

By George Hutton

It has been said many times that NLP is the greatest model of communication ever invented. In this article I'll explain this a little bit, and give you some direction that can help you further in your exploration of NLP.

The origins of NLP are relatively recent. It was first created when a couple of guys from different backgrounds modeled some of the best therapists out there. NLP has it's roots in modeling the communication strategies and methods of the best communicators in the world.

One of these fantastic communicators was Milton Erickson, a medical doctor who invented a new form of hypnosis. He would use a covert, or conversational hypnosis instead of the old fashioned, direct method. People would go see him, expecting to sit in a chair while staring at a swinging watch, only to be told some random, off the wall rambling story that would somehow magically cure their problems.

By modeling this one genius, a whole collection of powerful communication strategies was developed. Today it is called the Milton Model, and there is a plethora of free information online that can help you to learn this. There is also an abundance of seminars out there where you can get some hands on experience at trying these powerful techniques.

Others have described NLP as the objective description of the subjective experience. Say you are afraid of dogs. Instead of asking why, and digging into your past when you were first bit, NLP asks how you are afraid of dogs. What images do you see, what do you imagine when you see a dog? Once you have these, it's easy to change them, and the fear of dogs can disappear.

The greatest lesson of NLP is modeling itself. With modeling, you can learn to do anything from anybody. This is in now way limited to modeling excellence in communication. You can model excellence in public speaking, or engineering, golf, or even creative thinking. Once you tap into the awesome power of NLP, you are only limited by your imagination. - 31969

This Simple Method Will Get You A Date With Any Girl You Ask

By George Hutton

If you want to ask out a girl, but don't know how, this article is for you. I'll outline a simple process that will make it easy, and make her chances of saying yes very high. When done correctly, you will get more yes answers than no answers with this powerful method.

The first step is to make sure you know her name, and she knows yours. That means you have to see her at least a couple times before you ask her out. If you ask out a random stranger in the coffee shop, you won't have as much luck as with this powerful sure thing method.

Second, you need to find out some of her interests. Find out what she likes to do in her spare time. This can be anything from dog walking to novel reading in coffee shops. Anything that she likes is fine.

Now that you got that part squared away, it's time to structure the offer. Choose an event, or create an event, that is based on one of her interests. Anything that is remotely connected to something she is interested in is fine. This will dramatically improve your chances.

Next, you will need to plan and go to the event by yourself first. Fully plan on going there alone, in your mind, before you pop the question. This will take the pressure off of her of saying yes or no. If you put too much pressure on her she might say no.

Next is to simply ask her. But don't ask her like your asking for her permission to spend time with her. Make it sound like an offer to go with you on something that you are already planning on doing, which you should be. Then if she says no, it's no big deal. She will sense this, and her chances of saying yes will go much higher than if you just ask her cold.

Once you try this a few times, you'll notice more and more girls will be more than willing to go out with you, and pretty soon you will have a full social calendar. Have fun. - 31969

Ericksonian Hypnosis Method

By Christopher Cohen

The first step to learning the skill of conversational hypnosis is to believe in yourself. This is the single most important facet of building your power of conversational hypnosis. Without the confidence to pursue the learning of this skill, you will ultimately fail. For those of you who are serious and willing to commit to the program, you will begin to yield the benefits of conversational hypnosis. The power of conversational hypnosis is based on two synergistic philosophies. These two schools of thought are pretty much identical. They are Ericksonian Hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Together, these philosophies produce the art of conversational hypnosis.

The power of conversational hypnosis will give you the ability to influence people and your conversations with them in order to help improve you and your life. The basis of NLP and Ericksonian Hypnosis is through indirect suggestion that massages the unconscious mind in hopes that you will be able to resolve inner conflict that resides within your subconscious thus altering your behavior in what we commonly all refer to as Reality.

You can use the power of conversational hypnosis to transform your life and conversations. By using NLP and relaxation you are able to bring the other person into a state of persuasion. During this relaxed state, you are able to tamp in the unconscious and use indirect suggestion to control the tempo of the discussion. From there, you can enter the experiences that are stored in the deep subconscious to alter or adapt them.

Indirect embedded suggestion is how Neuro Linguistic Programming relates to the power of conversational hypnosis. Instead of a medical office environment, these techniques can be employed wherever and whenever. You may even find it fun and enjoyable to engage in conversation with just about anyone. The world will open up to you in ways that you never would have imagined. Every encounter will be an opportunity with the power of conversational hypnosis by your side.

One of the key things to remember is that the person you are speaking to must be relaxed. The more relaxed the person is that more they will be open to indirect embedded suggestion. For example, you can ask someone about their family, since family is typically personal and dear to them. However, if they seem to be agitated simply move to a another topic and shift your focus to that.

As you practice the power of conversational hypnosis, your skills in Ericksonian Hypnosis will become more natural and will become even more seamless as you induce the person into a state of relaxation. Once you've achieved this state of relaxation, you are now ready to embed indirect suggestions on the person. Neuro Linguistic Programming is now ready to be applied to the person in a deep state of relaxation.

The unconscious mind cannot discern between negations and affirmations. This is very important to keep in mind when choosing how you implement your indirect embedded suggestions. This can be exemplified in the following basic example. Imagine you are carrying a tray of wine to the patio and on your way, someone says "Be careful, don't spill them!" Even though this may seem to be a friendly reminder, what you don't know is that it has set in motion an increase in likelihood that you will actually spill the wine. This is because your subconscious mind and conscious mind cannot tell the different between the two.

Here is another example. Sit comfortably or lie down, whichever is more comfortable for you. Now, do NOT focus on your breath for 15 seconds. Now, take a 15 second break and come back when you're done. I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that you thought about your breath for the whole 15 seconds. This is a basic example of how the unconscious mind cannot discern what a negation is.

Through NLP, you will be able to transform your life and improve your wellness. The power of conversational hypnosis will also enable you to make real changes in other people lives as well. Casual conversations will be more exciting and rewarding through engaging their subconsciousness. You should give the power of NLP and conversational hypnosis a try and see the difference it makes. - 31969

Neuro Linguistic Programming Anchoring - How It Helps

By Trevor Johnson

Basically, neuro linguistic programming is just an increased state of mind in which you can use to bring yourself in to a much more peaceful state. Many people use this technique to reach higher success levels at work or even to just stay ahead of things in day to day life.

If you can learn to use NLP anchoring you can enable yourself to find a place in your mind that is free of stress and frustrations. At work this can be really helpful, but it can also be a good thing to use if you are simply aggravated with someone.

Studies that have been conducted on this have shown results that point to the ability to increase the effectiveness of the technique by finding more than one anchor to use at a time.

To effectively practice this technique you will need to be able to find and put yourself in to a calm state of mind that mimics that of one you have experienced in the past. It may be the feeling you had when you got an A on a test, the birth of your child or even just a thank you for a job well done. No matter what it is, use it to your advantage.

Different types of memories can have different effects on us. After you have found one that works for you, figure out how you can call upon it at any time you need to use it.

Successful use of this technique will not happen in a day and it will take time for you to develop a method that works for you. The anchor you choose to use can be a picture, a voice, a sound or even a smell. Use what gives you the best results. For parents, their most effective memory is one that involves their children, often their voice. For other people it be something you accomplished all on your own without anyone's help.

While the list of things you can use can be rather long, what it really takes is a serious commitment on your part. Before ever attempting to use this method you need to sit down and really think about all of things in your life that bring you happiness. This is an easy way to put yourself in a better state of mind and keep you on track. - 31969

How to Use Covert Persuasion To Help Others And Improve Your Sales

By George Hutton

I would like to share with you some powerful insights into the world of covert and conversational persuasion. A lot of people think that this is some kind of underhanded trickery, but that's not the case at all. You can create wonderful feelings of happiness in people when you use conversational persuasion.

In actuality, most people don't like to make decisions. Most of us naturally defer to those in power, and are happy to go along with a competent leader, so long as they know what they are doing. Simply put, most of us are followers, and very few of us are actual leaders. If you have any doubts, next time you are sitting in a meeting at work, watch how many people will voluntarily suggest a course of action.

Despite readily giving in to the decision of a strong leader, most people still would like to feel that their opinion counts for something. This is where covert persuasion is particularly powerful. With the right handling people will be more than happy to go along with your ideas and suggestions.

When the opinions of people are treated correctly, the people being persuaded will willingly go along with whatever the persuader will suggest. This can prove to be very powerful indeed.

A great benefit of involving the customer in the sales process is that you will greatly reduce any instances of "buyer's remorse." If you've ever gotten home and found yourself with a product that you don't want or need, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You can avoid this altogether with the right techniques.

When you use persuasion and involve the customer, they will not only be glad they bought from you, or decided to go along with your way of thinking, but they'll also tell all their friends about you. This can be great if you work in a referral system.

When you realize these simple ideas about covert persuasion, you can begin to understand that it is the best way to achieve a win win agreement with somebody. And this is true for all situations when persuasion would be appropriate. The only limits are in your imagination. - 31969

NLP Rewind Technique- Learn The Basics

By Trevor Johnson

It is said that brain is still the least understood organ of the human body. There are several areas in the human brain whose functions we do not know and have yet to discover. However, despite the odds, the psychologists have come up with several techniques and therapies that help ease the mental and emotional stress or phobias of a person. The rewind technique is one such therapy for removing the post-traumatic stress or phobias based on a therapy called the Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

Each one of us suffers from a certain type of phobia. Some of us are afraid of snakes, some of us are afraid of height or water. For some of us, these phobias become so severe that they disrupt our normal lives. This therapy though a very rare one is effectively used for treating phobias.

While reliving the incident the patient visualizes or sees the incident again and from a different perspective. It is like asking the patient to view the video of the incident. Except that it would be his mind that would be generating the video and it would be the mind's eye viewing the video.

It helps the patient is the sense that he doesn't have to actually use words to tell the psychologist that embarrassing or traumatic incidents again and again. Secondly, the patient can actually detach himself from the anxiety he feels at the time when his phobia triggers.

A great thing about this technique is that the patients who take this therapy do not have to explain in words to the psychologist about the traumatic incidents. They just have to visualize themselves. It saves them from the embarrassment of retelling the incidents again and again.

Although, the rewind technique has yet to become common but the technique is a promising one. It is great for a patient in the sense that it becomes effective in a short time and the patient is saved from the monotonous task of repeating embarrassing incidents that started the phobia to the psychologist. The patient can do his therapy himself with the psychologist just instructing. - 31969

Curing Disorders With Hypnotism

By Timothy Greensland

Hypnotism is the practice of a hypnotherapist guiding a subject into a meditative state. Unfortunately there is a lot of confusion around about what is and is not hypnotism. Ever since the beginning of hypnotism, people have been fascinated by it.

People who practice hypnotism claim that the being hypnotized allows the subjects mind to become more easily influenced by an external force, certainly more easily than the patient would accept these external force and suggestions than they normally would under their normal state of mind. The goal then of hypnosis can be to get the subject or patients mind into a state that will more readily receptive to a treatment for a disorder.

Many people react to hypnosis differently. Surveys suggest that approximately 20% of the population cannot be hypnotized, and that 25% of the population can be hypnotized quite easily. The remainder of the population fall somewhere in between. This proves that whilst it can be a very useful tool, hypnosis might not be useful to everyone, but its difficult to tell who can and can;t be hypnotized until they try it.

The explanation above sounds a little complex, so an example is in order.

Lets take the example of a chain smoker. One way that a hypnotist may treat this smoker is to first hypnotize the smoker into a deep meditative state. Once in this meditative state the hypnotherapist will ask the subject about all the reasons why they smoke and all of the negative thoughts that they have about smoking and the negative affects that smoking has on their life. The hypnotist will then ask the smoker to think of good thoughts that they would experience if they gave up smoking. These thoughts are repeated as part of the therapy and these thoughts are also spoken out loud. In this way the hypnotist helps to change the perceptions of the patient about smoking.

For successful treatment, the patient must continue to actively focus on the positive and negative perceptions they experienced during hypnosis after they have finished hypnosis. This can be done either on your own at home, or more effectively with repeat treatments with a qualified hypnotherapist.

Quitting smoking using hypnotism has worked for a large variety of people, many of whom go on to recommend the practice to their friends and family.

Don't let fear of the unknown or the fear of trying something new hold you back from trying a treatment that really could change your life. Many people have tried this form of therapy and found it works for them, it could work for you as well. - 31969

John Grinder And Development Of Neuro Linguistic Programming

By Ingrid Preube

John Grinder served as a captain in the US Army Special Forces, then later for the US Intelligence agency. Before this, in the late 1960's, he graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of San Francisco and a PhD from the University of California in San Diego in Linguistics in the early 1970's. He went on to co-found Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Dr. Richard Bandler.

Grinder was appointed to the position of professor of Linguistics at the newly formed University of California in Santa Cruz. He has published many books and papers, two examples of which are On Deletion Phenomena in English (1972) and Guide to Transformational Grammar (1973). He is considered to be an expert on the subject of syntax within the broader field of linguistics.

After being invited to participate in therapy groups with psychology student Richard Bandler, John became aware of linguistic patterns used by the therapists. John went on to co-found Neuro Linguistic Programming with Bandler.

Neuro Linguistic Programming was largely based on the language patterns used effectively by the hypnotherapist Milton H. Erickson and therapists Virginia Satir and Fritz Perls and the theory of transformation grammar. Based on this John Grinder and Richard Bandler came up with the model of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

The Neuro Linguist Programming model was developed even further using books published by these same therapists and later became the foundation of NLP. Grinder has also co-written many other books on NLP and its practical applications and theory.

The self confidence gained by practitioners of NLP has enabled many to become more successful in both their personal and professional lives. Many people have trouble believing just how radically their lives have been changed for the better after using the principals of Neuro Linguistic Programming. The changes are often even visible to co-workers and family members who are unaware of your learning NLP techniques.

The unique techniques created by John Grinder and Richard Bandler will help you use your mind to achieve more positive results. They will also help you achieve results by gaging the personality of those around you. This in turn, couple with the coordination of your own thoughts, feelings and behavior, will help you achieve your goals.

Using NLP you will be able to align your words and actions and this will help you to get your message across to your target audience in a far more effective and direct way. - 31969
